Jessica Marie Penney- Artist
Jessica Penney is a figurative artist whose work teeters between abstraction and representation. Her practice explores how we navigate emotion through use of form, gesture & repetition. Her work invites reflection, using ambiguity and movement to evoke the complexity of human experience.
Jessica studied at Ontario College of Art and Design, as well as L’École des Beaux Arts de St. Etienne, in France. She lives and works in Cambridge, Ontario with her husband Stephen, and their two very active boys.

Founded "Cambridge Art Link" - Rotating Art exhibition that showcases local art in businesses in the Cambridge Area
Founded the Preston Lantern Project- Interactive outdoor Exhibition that includes making and assisting community members (in schools, workshops, assisted living establishments, community groups) create and contribute to a growing annual exhibition.
Founded "Preston Arts Collective"- builds community and provides resources for artists in the Cambridge Area
